# Coach login and readiness tracking

- `/coaches/login`: dedicated coach entry point; uses the existing 32 Sports Wix member login and returns to the coach dashboard.
- `/coaches/dashboard`: private profile setup, two requirement checklists, uploads, staff feedback, renewal dates, and progress history. A coach can see and edit only their own submission.
- `/staff/coaches`: founder/coordinator tracker, with name/email/team/school search, state/region/progress filters, summary counts, and pagination.

Coach submissions distinguish not started, in progress, and submitted for review. Only a founder or a coordinator with the new **Review coach certifications & background checks** permission can verify or request updates. Coordinators remain limited to assigned regions. Review permission does not grant financial access. Read-only coordinators can see progress, but cannot download evidence documents. Assigned team coaches cannot view other coaches’ records.

Verification requires completed submission details and a reference or supporting document, a review note, reviewer confirmation, and either an expiration date or explicit confirmation that none is listed. Requirements expire according to the recorded date (America/New_York); the tracker flags expiration within 30 days. These are dashboard flags, not automatically sent notifications. Changing submitted information or replacing/removing a document resets verification. Optimistic revisions and transactional history protect against stale writes.

Coaches may upload a certificate or provider clearance confirmation (PDF, JPG, PNG; 5 MB maximum). Files stay private in R2, with access checked for every download. Background-check uploads are intended only for clearance confirmations, not full reports, SSNs, or identity documents. Public profiles/flyers do not expose these files.

Existing self-reported progress is preserved and shown as unverified until reviewed. Creating a profile or satisfying both requirements does not grant team access or a coaching assignment. Those remain founder-approved through the Leadership Huddle. There is no automated USA Football or background-screening provider integration; coaches submit information and authorized staff verify it.
